LUCKNOW: In an attempt to reach out to the youth and associate them with the party ideology, Samajwadi Party youth wing today decided to promote the use of the social media among its workers.

"It has been decided to promote use of social media by party workers to propagate party's ideolgy and good work done by the SP government in the state," SP leader Rajpal Kashyap said after the meeting of SP Chatra Sabha and youth leaders of the party at SP office here.

Kashyap said it was also decided that a membership campaign should be run in universities and colleges to muster support of students in favour of the party.

"A pledge was taken to make party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav the next Prime Minister of the country. The leaders have been asked to shun differences, if any, to achieve this in 2014 Lok Sabha polls," he said.

The youth leaders were asked to read the history of other parties and expose them before the people, he said.

Party youth were asked to thwart opposition's propaganda against Chief Minsiter Akhilesh Yadav government and highlight its works.
