Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has entrusted party Rajya Sabha members to look after party affairs at divisional level.

LUCKNOW: With a view to strengthen the organisation and keep tab on party workers, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav has entrusted party Rajya Sabha members to look after party affairs at divisional level.

"RS MPs have been given responsibility of party affairs at divisional level and all the MLAs and other leaders have been asked to coordinate with them. They will submit their report to party within a month," SP spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury said.

Film actress and party MP Jaya Bachchan has been given charge of Varanasi region while Naresh Agarwal of Bareilly division, Kiranmoy Nanda-Azamgarh, Chandrapal Singh Yadav-Chitrakoot/Mirzapur division, Neeraj Shekhar-Merrut division, Tanzeen Fatima of Moradabad division besides others.

These MPs are to work as link between local leaders and party supremo and would help in redressing problem of grass root workers.
