LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today said his party was against the existing Food Security Bill but favoured an all-party meeting to discuss the issue.

"We are against the existing Food (Security) Bill," the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister told reporters here.

Asked whether the Congress party was making efforts to cajole him following his opposition to the Food Security Bill, he said there was no such thing.

"Nobody has cajoled me so far. I don't know from where you got the news," the SP head said.

Mulayam, who met ailing Uttar Pradesh Labour minister Waqar Ahmad Shah in a hospital here, said in a democracy, an all-party meet could be held to discuss any issue.
