UP Minister Narad Rai today criticised PM Modi for attacking previous central governments during his foreign visits and said with his statements he was tarnishing the county's image world over.

BALLIA: Samajwadi Party leader and Uttar Pradesh Minister Narad Rai today criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attacking previous Central governments during his foreign visits and said with his statements he was tarnishing the county's image world over.

"The Prime Minister is making bad statements about the country during his foreign trips... in his attempt to target the earlier elected governments, Modi is tarnishing the image of the county world over.

"This is the country where Lord Ram and Lord Krishna were born and is revered by the entire world," Rai told reporters here.

During his recent tour to China and Mongolia, Modi said, "Earlier people used to feel ashamed that they were born in India..."

"After failing in fulfil the promises made to the people in the Lok Sabha elections, he is using foreign platforms for self praise and condemning opposition," Rai added.
