LUCKNOW: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi likely to attend "Tilak" ceremony of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew Tej Pratap Yadav, BSP today alleged that both parties were having tacit understanding which stood exposed.

"BJP and SP have a tacit understanding and indulge in shadow boxing. Since it is a marriage function, if Modi goes there BSP has no objection," Leader of Opposition Swami Prasad Maurya told reporters here.

He said the closeness between the two parties will be further exposed.

"Just four days back, SP supremo attended the marriage of BJP national president Amit Shah's son and now Modi is going on Mulayam's invitation. As it is a marriage function, we do not want to comment," he said.

Mainpuri MP Tej Pratap and the youngest daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav had got engaged on December 16. They will tie knot on February 26 in Delhi after the "Tilak" ceremony in Etawah on February 21.
