Samajwadi Party appoints six district presidents

Samajwadi Party today appointed six district presidents almost ten days after dissolving the district executives of all the party district units.

LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party today appointed six district presidents almost ten days after dissolving the district executives of all the party district units.

On March 27, after reviewing party's performance during Assembly polls, SP's state president Akhilesh Yadav had dissolved all the district/mahanagar units.

However, leaving six, all district presidents were retained.

Fahim Sabir Ansari has been made president of Bareilly, Raj Kumar Rathore, Noor Alam and Ram Kumar Kashyap were made presidents of Farukhabad, Allahabad and Pilibhit respectively, they said

Mahendra Singh Yadav and Kiranpal Kashyap will be the presidents of Lalitpur and Prabuddha Nagar units of the SP.

Meanwhile, Lekhraj Singh Yadav, former block head of Bangra in Mauranipur assembly segment of Jhansi was expelled from the party for six years by Yadav for indiscipline and anti-party activities.
