Sam Pitroda's China remark blow to India's sovereignty: BJP while targeting Congress

New Delhi: BJP on Monday condemned the remarks made by Overseas Congress head Sam Pitroda, saying the comments have revealed the nexus of the party with the neighbouring country. At a press conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said, "Congress leader Sam Pitroda has openly revealed the Congress party's agreement with China... The serious thing is that the kind of thing Sam Pitroda has said is a very deep blow to India's identity, diplomacy and sovereignty... Rahul Gandhi has also given many similar statements abroad... Some time ago, on his foreign tour, he said that China has solved the problem of unemployment very well."

"Our 20 soldiers were martyred in Galwan and after that, if your overseas president speaks such language, then it is condemnable." Trivedi said it symbolised the mindset of Congress and other parties in the INDIA bloc. "Whatever Pitroda has said, it seems that the lyrics are of Sam Pitroda and its lyricists - Soros, Congress and the people of INDIA bloc - are playing a symphony on it," he added.
