Marathwada is one of the worst affected regions in the state where seven major dams in some districts are left with no water.

MUMBAI: Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and PepsiCo will jointly help Maharashtra government tackle the drought in Marathwada.

Chief minister cs today held a meeting with Tendulkar in this regard.

"Delighted to meet Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar. He & Pepsi are putting together a plan for drought relief in Marathwada," Fadnavis tweeted.

Marathwada is one of the worst affected regions in the state where, as per the latest official figures, seven major dams in districts of Aurangabad, Parbhani, Beed, Nanded and Osmanabad are left with no water.
