Sachin Pilot on 5-day visit to Australia

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Congress president Sachin Pilot will interact with prominent politicians and think tanks of Australia during his five-day visit to the country which began today.

"The PCC Chief is visiting Canberra, Perth and Sydney in Australia on the invitation by the Australian government," Pradesh Congress Committee vice president Archana Sharma said today.

The former Union minister is scheduled to meet the foreign minister, the commerce minister of Australia and members of political parties and the Parliament during a special programme by the Australian government, she said.

Pilot is also likely to interact with the chief of cyber security and various think tanks and trade groups in Australia, Sharma said.

She added that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had also attended similar programme in Australia in 2007.
