SAARC agrees to make tangible progress on 4 issues

New Delhi: The 14th SAARC Summit that concluded here on Wednesday agreed to make tangible progress in the next six months on four issues that affect the daily lives of people -- water, energy, food and environment.

Briefing reporters on the deliberations of the summit, external affairs minister, Pranab Mukherjee said the SAARC leaders decided to observe 2008 as the Year of Good Governance.
