NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court issued notices to the central and Haryana state governments and the Central Board of Secondary Education on a petition filed by the father of a seven-year-old student of Ryan International School in Gurgaon who was allegedly killed by a bus conductor in the school toilet after an attempted sexual assault.

The father, Barun Kumar Thakur, has alleged a deeper conspiracy behind his child’s death and has demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

A three-judge bench led by CJI Dipak Misra issued the notices on Monday on an urgent mention made on behalf of the father in court. The CBI was also issued notices on the plea for an independent probe.
