RWAs to design citizen’s agenda for Bengaluru
“The city’s decline must be stopped, and the only way citizens can reverse years of exploitation is by raising voice against those who are responsible for the degradation of the city,” United Bengaluru spokesperson said.

Over 1,200 residential welfare associations are expected to participate in the meeting to articulate the pressing issues of the city and to pressurise political parties to drive the change. Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara, officials and people representatives will attend the meeting to respond to citizens queries and offer adequate solutions.
According to a press release, the meeting will deliberate up on six important issues. They are: rampant commercialisation of law enforcement in residential areas, unsustainable models that harm the environment, city’s public health crisis due to improper garbage disposal system, infringement of the rights of home-buyers due to lack of implementation of Real Estate Act, lack of information about the legal tools with citizens to reclaim and protect Bengaluru.
