Though both sides were tight-lipped about the issues discussed, sources said it was an “input-sharing” meeting between the Sangh fountainhead and the BJP ministers on key issues.
While RSS has emphasised that Ghar Vapsi programme should continue, the NDA government has been guarded in its response on the issue in view of the controversy surrounding it.
This was the first meeting of the RSS-BJP coordination committee after the RSS Pratinidhi Sabha conclave at Nagpur last week. RSS leaders reportedly shared the inputs the Sangh has received on burning issues from its cadre across the country.
While there was widespread speculation that the Land Acquisition BIll also came up for discussion during the meeting at Gadkari’s residence, sources insisted this issue did not figure in the meeting.
