RSS not interested in politics: Bhagwat
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday that the organisation was not opposed to any political party and does not want to interfere in national politics.
"All parties are ours in a way and in other way are also not related to us. We are not interested in politics. We talk to every party and discuss issues," Bhagwat, who is on a two-day visit to the city, said at a public gathering.
Bhagwant's comment comes after his recent high level consultations with BJP leaders about the ongoing crisis in the saffron party.
"RSS is not opposed to any party or anybody. And for those who want some advice we are always ready to help... When the society is asleep it cannot blame politics. It is always the fault of the society if they suffer at the hands of politics," he said.
The RSS chief said Hindutava is a thought and if there is a Hindu society and a Hindu nation then none like Hitler would come into existence.
Bhagwat said some people have misconception about RSS. "People know about RSS and what it is, but do not know what they do. One has to be in the Sangh to know what it really is," he said.
Bhagwat said the doors of RSS are open for all, as everybody in the country is a Hindu, to come and join the organisation and see what really it is.
