RSS keeps Kairana poll pot boiling
'Organiser' has upheld the BJP onslaught on UP government, and taken a dim view of the media negating Hukum Singh's claims about Hindu exodus in Kairana.

"A silent exodus of Hindu families; Deserted houses in Kairana tell the stories of human rights violations of Hindus by demographic offensive of anti-social elements" reads the cover page of the weekly's latest edition.
'Organiser' has upheld the BJP onslaught on the Akhilesh Yadav-led UP government, and taken a dim view of the media negating Hukum's claims that Hindu businessmen had migrated from Kairana following extortion threats from goons.
Lashing out at reports that there had been no exodus of Hindus, 'Organiser' said none of the TV channels could show a single Muslim family migrating from the area.
The report in the weekly quotes a Hindu confectioner who reportedly left Kairana after receiving threats. "They did it with impunity for years. They not only threatened, but killed," the report quoted him as saying.
The BJP leadership, at its national executive in Allahabad, had raised the issue vociferously and later sent a fact-finding team to Kairana, with the state government terming it a BJP ploy to polarise voters ahead of next year's polls. Hukum Singh has made a shift from his original claims, saying the exodus is not communal.
