RSS doesn't support Dadri-like incidents: RSS General Secretary Bhaiyaji Joshi

In a direct condemnation of the Dadri lynching incident RSS General Secretary Bhaiyaji Joshi says that his organisation doesn't support such incidents and that the RSS is against injustice. Joshi who was in Mumbai and was speaking at the Hindustan Samachar programme said that backing incidents like Dadri was not in the ‘nature’ of the RSS.

“We don’t support such incidents, this kind of violence (Dadri) is not acceptable to the Sangh. We will never support injustice, this is against our nature. This is unfortunate."said Joshi in Mumbai.

He however added that ‘there was a need to find out the real reason for such incidents occurring.’

The RSS General Secretary also condemned the Sena stance on blackening the face of Sudheendra Kulkarni for hosting a programme of former Pakistani Foreign Minister Kurshi Mahmud Kasuri. "We agree with what Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that such incidents bring a bad name to the state." He however said that the Sena opposition to the Pakistani nationals coming to India was ‘only political’

Earlier Joshi spent a major part of his speech speaking about the need to maintain justice in the society and spoke of how India has always been a nation of Knowledge and discipline and the cornerstone of the country was that everyone in the society never committed injustice on others.

"We are known for not doing injustice on anyone, we will not take advantage of someone’s lack of knowledge. This is a country of Gods there is no place for injustice."said Joshi.

He added that the thinking in the country was always that ‘everyone should be taken together for progress’. "Some feel that only powerful people should forge ahead however progress however real progress is if we take every along, that is how people in our country are."said the RSS General Secretary.
