‘RSS-BJP wants to destroy constitution’: Rahul Gandhi flags off ‘Run for Ambedkar..’ marathon
New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said it is the Constitution that binds India together and alleged that the RSS and BJP are trying "to end the Constitution". Gandhi was flagging off a 'Run for Ambedkar, Run for Constitution' marathon organised by the SC department of the Congress.

"The Constitution is the message of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Ji. If there had been no Constitution, we would not have been able to see India in this form. Today, people from RSS-BJP want to end the Constitution, because they do not want everyone in the country to be considered equal," Gandhi said. "Even if BJP people are seen folding their hands in front of Baba Saheb's statue, from the heart, their goal and thinking is to erase the Constitution. On the other hand, the goal of Congress is to save the Constitution. We want the message of the Constitution to reach every corner of the country."
