Activists from Sangh-inspired organisations will share information and experiences about their respective activities at this gathering.
This is the RSS's first gathering with its allied organisations, including the BJP, since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The gathering is especially significant because it is being held amid reports of tension between the Sangh and the BJP.
The meeting would be attended by BJP chief JP Nadda and general secretary (organisation) BL Santhosh, as well as a few other party leaders.
The meeting would also be closely observed by political watchers because the BJP has yet to announce Nadda's successor as party president, and the Sangh must be on the board.
Sunil Ambekar, the Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS, stated at a news conference in Palakkad that the gathering will debate different problems of national concern in the current context, recent significant events, and planning for the various dimensions of societal change.
In answer to a question at a news conference, Ambekar stated that the meeting would also cover the situation in Bangladesh.
He went on to say that as the group approaches its centenary year on Vijayadashami in 2025, it will launch five initiatives for social reform and nation building.
