RSP issues whip to its to MPs to vote against UPA

Left ally RSP on Saturday issued a whip to its three Lok Sabha members to vote against the UPA government during the trust vote on July 22.

NEW DELHI: Left ally RSP on Saturday issued a whip to its three Lok Sabha members to vote against the UPA government during the trust vote on July 22.

The party has asked the MPs to be present in the Lok Sabha during the special session on July 21 and 22 and vote against the confidence motion, RSP general secretary T J Chandrachoodan said.

The MPs- Ranen Barman, Joachim Baxla and Sanat Kumar Mandal, all from West Bengal- are expected to reach the national capital by Sunday.

CPI(M) and CPI have already issued whip to their MPs to vote against the government.
