RLD gives ticket to Amar, Jaya from Fatehpur Sikri, Bijnore

LUCKNOW: A day after they joined RLD, Amar Singh and Rampur MP Jaya Prada were today named party candidates from Fatehpur Sikri and Bijnore Lok Sabha seats respectively.

RLD chief Ajit Singh will contest from Bagpat while his son Jayant Chowdhury from Mathura constituency, according to the first list of six candidates released by the party for Uttar Pradesh.

Besides them, Kartar Singh Bhadna has been fielded from Kairana, Anju alias Muskan from Bulandshahr and Niranjan Dhangar has been given ticket from Hathras.

RLD has got eight seats in Uttar Pradesh under an alliance with Congress.

Actor-turned-politician Jaya Prada said Amar Singh were expelled from Samajwadi Party in February 2010.
