Nitish Kumar takes oath as CM, RJD's Tesjashwi Yadav sworn in as deputy CM

Mahagatbandhan in Bihar: Nitish Kumar takes oath as Bihar CM for the 8th time
Nitish Kumar, who left the BJP-led NDA earlier, took oath as the CM for the eighth time, on Wednesday.

The RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav took oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar.

The oath-taking ceremony took place inside the Raj Bhavan.


Kumar will lead a coalition of seven parties that has the backing of an Independent.

Nitish Kumar announced a new "grand alliance" with Tejashwi Yadav's RJD & other opposition parties.

Opposition leaders like former CM Rabri Devi and RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav were also present at the ceremony.
