RJD lowers membership age to 15

As per other amendments to its constitution, the party would now have 85 members besides the president in its national executive committee. There are currently 75 members, including the president, in the apex body. From among the 84 members, the national president can appoint up to five vice-presidents, one secretary general, one treasurer, 12 general secretaries and 12 secretaries.
The state executive body would now have up to 121 members including the state president in place of 65 mem bers. From among them, the state president can now appoint up to 51 office-bearers including nine vice-presidents, one secretary general, one treasurer, 15 general secretaries and 25 secretaries.
The Bihar unit has currently a jumbo team of officebearers numbering at least 225. Lalu Prasad Yadav had at a recent party meeting spoken against this violation of the party constitution.
