342 complaints were received against IAS officers and 132 against IPS officers during 2015-16, Jitendra Singh said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.

NEW DELHI: There has been rise in complaints against IAS and IPS officers in the past three years, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said today.

342 complaints were received against IAS officers and 132 against IPS officers during 2015-16, he said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.

333 and 118 complaints were received against IAS and IPS officers respectively in 2014-15, said Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

During 2013-14, the Centre had received 246 and 89 complaints against IAS and IPS officers, he said, without giving details of the plaints.
