JAIPUR: Rich floral tributes were today paid to former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on his fourth death anniversary at Vidhan Sabha here.

Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Kailash Meghwal, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajya Sabha MPs Ashq Ali Tak, Narendra Budaniya and MLA Narpat Singh Rajvi, also the son-in-law of the former Vice President, were among those who offered rose petals at Shekhawat's portrait here.

Shekhawat's grand children Vikramditya, Abhimanyu and Moomal were also present on the occasion.

Born on October 23, 1923 in Sikar's Khachiryavas village, Shekhawat had been the Chief Minister of Rajasthan thrice and was Vice President from August 19, 2002 to July 21, 2007.
