KOLKATA: It has been three months since the demonetisation was announced by the Narendra Modi government, though the restrictions are still there and so the suffering, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee attacked Modi in her twitter post.

“Today, three months are finally over. But the restrictions and sufferings continue. Citizens have lost economic freedom. When economic freedom is lost, the actual freedom cannot be there,” said Banerjee.

Claiming that commoners, middle-class and poor continue to suffer, Banerjee said, except some rick capitalists people are still struggling to survive the post –demonetisation days.

“The economy has slowed down tremendously. The nation is facing an acute economic crisis. How long this will go? DeMo-ReMo derailed the nation,” added Banerjee in her statement.
