Resolution passed against Sessions court judges

The bar association of the Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court passed a resolution against the "non-cooperative attitude and arrogance of the Sessions court judges.

MUMBAI: The bar association of the Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court passed a resolution against the "non-cooperative attitude and arrogance of the Sessions court judges towards the advocates" and apprised Bombay HC of the judges attitude.
The resolution passed on June 18 states that several judges of the Sessions Court are "rude, arrogant and non-accommodating to the advocates appearing before them". The association has submitted an extract of the resolution to the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court on Friday.
The resolution was passed in the association's special general body meeting called to discuss the grievances faced by over 5,000 of it members.
The resolution states the nature of grievances faced by the advocates from the additional sessions judges and about "their arrogant and non-cooperative behavior". It also raises the issue of civil cases transferred to criminal courts and criminal cases transferred to civil court without informing the advocates and complainants, which resulted in a chaos in the system.
