Reshuffle in UP administration

The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday effected a reshuffle in the civil administration by transferring five IAS officers, including two district magistrates.

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday effected a reshuffle in the civil administration by transferring five IAS officers, including two district magistrates.

PWD Special Secretary Rajendra Prasad has been appointed as district magistrate of Unnao while special secretary homeguards Tarkeshwarnath Singh will be the new district magistrate of Badaun, an official release said.

Principal Secretary agriculture, education and research Chandra Prakash has been shifted to the cooperatives department replacing Pradip Shukla, who will take charge as the new chairman of UP power cooperation.

Secretary, medical and health Prashant Trivedi has been made commissioner trade tax, the release added.
