Reshuffle in Arvind Kejriwal Cabinet?
NEW DELHI: There may be a reshuffle in the seven-member Delhi Cabinet after the Budget Session ends on March 31 and some new faces new faces may be inducted.

Sources said that the reshuffle would take place purely on the basis of "performance", although it would not be as big as being "speculated".

Since the formation of the government last year, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has dropped two ministers from his Cabinet, namely Tri Nagar MLA Jitender Singh Tomar and Matia Mahal MLA Asim Ahmed Khan.

Asked about the possible removal of Social Welfare Minister Sandeep Kumar, sources said, it was unlikely as he is one of the Dalit faces of the party. "Finding a replacement would be problematic at this juncture."

Kejriwal had added fuel to the speculation when he had re-tweeted a news item on action against Kumar for allegedly forcing a government school principal to put the name of his wife on a plaque at an event.

In the current Cabinet, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Home Minister Satyender Jain and Transport Minister Gopal Rai hold the maximum number of additional portfolios. Kejriwal does not hold any portfolio.
