Resentment after Rajib Banerjee gets invite for BJP national meet

There is resentment in the Bengal unit of the BJP after TMC turncoat Rajib Banerjee's induction as special invitee to national executive committee of the party.

Many BJP leaders expressed their unhappiness at his induction, especially since he criticised BJP's stand on opposing Mamata Banerjee. He even distanced himself from the party after his defeat at the Domjur assembly seat in Howrah.

Banerjee had won the seat twice on Trinamool Congress ticket.


Rajib Banerjee has not attend a single meeting of BJP and was also seen visiting a senior Trinamool leader's home after the assembly polls, which sparked speculations about his rejoining his old party again.
