Rename Saharanpur Railway Station after Maa Shakambhari Devi: Congress MP Imran Masood
Congress MP Imran Masood has urged the Centre to rename the Saharanpur Railway Station after Maa Shakambhari Devi. Speaking during the Lok Sabha discussion on the Railways’ demand for grants, Masood said he was making the appeal “as a Muslim” while emphasising the religious and cultural significance of the Shakambhari Devi shrine in the Saharanpur region.
