Real Estate bill likely to be sent to select panel of Rajya Sabha

NEW DELHI: The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Bill, 2013, is likely to be referred to a select panel of the Rajya Sabha as most of the opposition parties are opposed to the bill in its present form. Government had listed the bill for discussion and passage on Tuesday, but even before it could be taken up, Naresh Agarwal (SP) sought to know how Naidu had listed it after promising in the House that he would discuss its fate with the opposition parties.
