Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja joins BJP
Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His wife, Rivaba Jadeja, who is a BJP MLA, announced the news on social media and shared photos of them with their BJP membership cards.

Rivaba Jadeja, a BJP MLA and Ravindra Jadeja's wife, shared the news on social media platform X. In her post, Rivaba also shared photos of herself and her husband with their BJP membership cards.
BJP launched its ambitious membership earlier this week, which included renewal of association of those already in the party with organisation’s chief JP Nadda making Modi the first member through a missed call to a dedicated number.
Rivaba, a mechanical engineer by education, joined the BJP in 2019. She married Indian all rounder Ravindra Jadeja in 2016. She has also served as the leader of the Rajput community organisation Karni Sena.
Jadeja announced his retirement from T20 internationals in June this year after India won the T20 World Cup. He mentioned that winning the T20 World Cup was the pinnacle of his T20 International career and thanked fans for their support in an Instagram post.
