Ravi Shankar Prasad slams Bihar CM Nitish Kumar over 'poor' law and order situation
PATNA: Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today took a swipe at Bihar Chief Minister over law and order situation in the state saying the situation was deteriorating as criminals felt assured of "no action" in his rule.

Mentioning the incident here last night in which allegedly some armed criminals shot at and injured the Additional Superintendent of Police, Town, the Union Information and Technology Minister wondered how criminals have got emboldened to attack police officers in the daring manner.

"It appears that criminals, kidnappers, robbers have got assurance (from political masters) that nothing will happen against them if they carry out crimes," Prasad said.

He further taunted Kumar whether he needed any more proof that Bihar is in the grips of 'jungle raj' given the murderous attack on police officers like the one last night.
