‘Rationalists’ murder weapon in Vasai Creek

Mumbai:The Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) probe into the murder of rationalist Narendra Dabholkar has revealed that the common murder weapon allegedly used to kill four rationalists might have been thrown into the Vasai creek after the Karnataka police started arresting members of Sanatan Sanstha, a source told ET. Dabholkar, CPI leader Govind Pansare, Karnataka-based activist MM Kalburgi and journalist Gauri Lankesh from Bengaluru were all shot dead between 2013 and 2017. All were reportedly shot with a 7.65mm country-made pistol.
