Ratan Tata, Gadkari discuss socio-economic development issues

NEW DELHI: Industry doyen Ratan Tata today called on Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and discussed aspects pertaining to socio-economic development of the country.

"Shri RN Tata ji called on me today. Discussed various aspects of socio-economic development of the country," Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said in microblogging site Twitter.

A source in the Ministry said it was a courtesy call by Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata.
