Rashtriya Lok Dal workers protest against Centre over Jat reservation

MUZAFFARNAGAR: Several members of the youth wing of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) staged a demonstration against the Centre and accused it of poor pleading for Jat reservation in the Supreme Court.
Around 50 members led by District President of the youth wing, Harsh Rathi held the demonstration and also burnt effigies last evening at Civil lines here.
They accused the Union government of poor pleading in support of Jat reservation in the apex court.
The Supreme Court had set aside the notification issued by the former UPA government to include Jats in the Central list of OBC for according benefits of reservation to them.
