Rashtrapati Bhavan staff found dead

NEW DELHI: A 51-year-old woman, employed in Rashtrapati Bhavan, allegedly committed suicide early this morning, apparently depressed over her health condition, police said.

Srimaya, as a Class IV employee, was found hanging in her servants quarters in Rashtrapati Bhavan campus at around 12 am. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.

Police said she was suffering from some skin disease and allegedly took the extreme step due to depression.
