NEW DELHI: Even as the Congress high command is reeling under the Karnataka shock, Maharashtra Congress rebel Narayan Rane reached Delhi on Tuesday to revive his campaign against chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.

After meeting Sonia Gandhi and her key advisors, though Mr Rane did not say a word against Mr Deshmukh, but let his campaigners whisper to one and all, once again, ���the imminent removal of the chief minister during this very crucial week itself���. After returning from 10 Janpath, Mr Rane said he discussed with Ms Gandhi many issues including the Maharashtra affairs.
