Ram Naik more of a political activist than constitutional head: CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjaan
Senior CPI leader Atul Kumar Anjaan today criticised Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik saying that he was acting more like a political activist.

"Ram Naik is acting more like a political activist than constitutional head...In all the functions that he is attending, he is praising RSS calling it a cultural organisation and telling about his association with it...His behaviour is highly objectionable," Anjaan told reporters here.
To a question on SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's efforts to unite the parties of the Janata parivar, Anjaan said that the manner in which SP, RJD and JD(U) are contesting the assembly polls separately in Jharkhand, such chances seem remote.
Anjaan said that in the coming parliament session, the number of left parties were more than the Samajwadi Party and Janata Dal (United) and were capable of attacking the BJP on their own.
He said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was not able to face the people following the scams and terror attacks and also ruled out any understanding with her to oppose the BJP.
