Ram Kripal is not a court: Lalu Yadav
LATEHAR/MANIKA ( JHARKHAND): A day after Union Minister Ram Kripal Yadav took a dig at Lalu Prasad saying he was not even eligible to contest mukhiya's post, the RJD chief today asked Yadav whether he was a "court" to decide his eligibility to contest elections.

"Who is he to decide? Is he a court?" Prasad said in his response to Yadav.

The Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation had taken a jibe at Prasad yesterday, saying he was not even eligible to contest mukhiya's post but was out for electioneering in Jharkhand.

"He (Ram Kripal Yadav) ditched the party," Prasad said while addressing two poll rallies in Latehar and Manika in support of RJD candidates.

Reacting to BJP leader and former Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi referring to him as "Alu (potato)" in an election rally yesterday, Prasad said during the RJD rule not only potato, but prices of tomato, onion and rice were cheap.

"Now prices of all commodities are up," he claimed. The RJD is continuing its alliance with the Congress for the five-phase Assembly elections in Jharkhand beginning November 25.
