Rajnath Singh to Kashmir separatists: You need to be right minded not like minded for talks

The Hurriyat Conference has offered to hold talks with the Union government but has also put some conditions.

"We are open to talks with all, you don't need to be like minded to talk but you do need to be right minded," said Rajnath Singh.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said that the government will do everything to bring peace to Kashmir.

"I would like to repeat, that no matter how many obstacles come in our way, we will not be deterred in our aim to bring lasting peace to Kashmir," Rajnath Singh said today in Srinagar.

He lashed out at the separatists for using the youth to propagate violence.


"They(Separatists) can play any kind of politics, but they should not play with future of children, these children not only children of Kashmir but also of India, they are an asset. Keeping this in mind we took back cases of first time stone pelters," he said.

"We are open to talks with all, you don't need to be like minded to talk but you do need to be right minded," Rajnath further added.

Singh also reminded that how security forces have worked with utmost restraint ever sinch unilateral ceasefire was announced by the Center on May 16.
