Rajesh Talwar filed wrong FIR to mislead investigators: CBI
GHAZIABAD: Dentist Rajesh Talwar registered a wrong FIR against domestic help Hemraj despite knowing about his death with an aim to mislead the investigators, the CBI has claimed.

According to CBI theory, Rajesh had lodged a complaint at Noida's Sector 20 police station at 7.10 am on May 16, 2008, stating that he, his wife Nupur and 14-year-old daughter Aarushi resided at his house while Hemraj also "lived" there and fled away after murdering his daughter.

"Lived" word indicated that Rajesh knew in advance about Hemraj's death, the agency said.

Rajesh was additionally charged with Section 203 of IPC for registering wrong FIR while he along with his wife Nupur Talwar were charged with murder with common intension (Section 302/34) and destruction of evidence (Section 201/34).

According to CBI, Rajesh also diverted police officials when they spotted blood stains on the terrace door's lock, a day when Aarushi was found murdered.

Noida's Sector 20 police station SHO Data Ram Noneria noticed blood on the lock.

When he asked for the key, Rajesh said that there wasn't any and told him not to waste time in unlocking the door and instead search for Hemraj, the CBI theory said.
