Raje ready for fresh talks with Gujjars: Munde
The Vasundhara Raje Government in Rajasthan is ready to hold fresh talks with Gujjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla to resolve the week-long crisis, senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde said today.
"We want to hold talks with the Gujjar leaders by any means", state BJP in-charge Gopinath Munde told reporters after coming out of a meeting between party and State Government functionaries chaired by the Chief Minister.
An invitation for talks will be extended to the protesters led by Bainsla in Pilupura, he said.
The State Government is keen to end the stalemate, said Munde.
Meanwhile, the State Government has asked the Medical and Health Department to conduct postmortem on 14 bodies lying at the Sawai Man Singh hospital since May 23. They will be delivered to their relatives for the last rites, Munde said.
If Bainsla and his supporters agree, he said 12 bodies lying at Pilupura and six at Sikandra will also be sent for post-mortem, he said.
