Talking about the Swachh Bharat campaign initiated by the PM, the CM said that people should keep themselves and their homes, streets, villages and cities clean.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said that her government was committed to making the state Open Defecation Free (ODF) by 2017.

"The state government has planned to make 2,500 village panchayats ODF every year for the next three years.

"Presently, 300 panchayats have been declared ODF and another 300 panchayats would be announced so very soon," Raje said at a function in Madhogarh village near here.

Talking about the Swachh Bharat campaign initiated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CM said that people should keep themselves and their homes, streets, villages and cities clean.

She also announced to give Rs 50 lakh for Madhogarh panchayat towards sanitation works under the Swachh Bharat campaign.
