Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje to inaugurate 'Municipalika 2015' tomorrow

JAIPUR: More than 1,000 delegates from all over India and abroad will attend the 13th International Conference and Exhibition on Sustainable Habitat and Smart Cities - Municipalika 2015, which will be inaugurated here tomorrow by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.

A large number of urban and housing sector officials, representatives of urban local bodies from 300 cities, international delegates from seven countries and private industry, and professionals will attend the three-day event which will have 10 thematic sessions, four technical sessions, and a 'Open House Citizen's Interface', a release said today.

Canada is the partner country for the event, in which representative from over 20 companies will participate.

In the event, initiatives like '100 Smart Cities', 500 cities under AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation), Swachh Bharat Mission, Housing-for-All Scheme, Digital India, and HRIDAY (National Heritage City Development and Augmentation Yojana) Scheme will feature in the academic sessions.
