"Congress high command": Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot takes a dig at Sachin Pilot
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a jab at his political rival, Sachin Pilot, by calling him the "Congress high command." Gehlot stated that Pilot has become the leader of the party and there is no need to tell the high command what ...

Gehlot stated, "Sachin Pilot is the leader of our party. Now he himself has become the high command. There is no need to tell the high command (what to do)." He further added, "When the high command itself distributes the tickets, then Pilot will also have a role (in the exercise)."
These comments were made in response to a question regarding Sachin Pilot's involvement in the allocation of party tickets, during an event hosted by a news portal in Jaipur. Gehlot's remarks seemingly aimed at Pilot's membership in the party's most influential decision-making body. Gehlot emphasized, "Being a CWC member is a big thing. Tickets for AICC office bearers and CWC members are also being decided by the party high command."
When asked about the possibility of the BJP nominating former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to contest against him from the Sardarpura constituency in Jodhpur, Gehlot quipped, "It would be my good fortune if she contested. In such a scenario, both I and the state of Rajasthan would attract significant attention nationwide."
