JAIPUR: Congress today announced that forty per cent of its candidates for next month's civic polls in Rajasthan will be below the age of 40 years.

"Forty per cent youth up to the age of 40 years would be given tickets to contest the upcoming civic body polls slated next month in 46 cities in the state," PCC President Sachin Pilot said.

Besides candidates having clean image would be given priority while giving party tickets, he said.

Pilot took this decision yesterday after observers submitted their reports on the political situation in the state and people's feedback.
