Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje greets people on Diwali
JAIPUR: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today greeted people on the occasion of Diwali saying that the festival would lighten their lives and remove darkness of poverty and scarcity in the society.

In her message, Raje appealed people to use the day of festival of lamps to fill up happiness and brighten up lives of "deen-heen-gareeb" (poor or needy) in the society by celebrating holy occasions together and in an atmosphere of amity.

Extending greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion, she also called upon people to make their house and surroundings clean and make the country "swacch" throughout the year.

It should not be a festival of one day, but people should enjoy entire year by this way, she said.
