Raj officials asked to step up security for bypolls
The CEO also asked the officers to make additional security arrangements for critical polling booths in their respective districts.
Govind Sharma in a meeting here with District Collectors and SPs of four districts of Bharatpur, Jhunjhunu, Ajmer, and Kota asked them to follow guidelines and to ensure that model code of conduct is not violated in the constituencies of Weir (Bharatpur), Surajgarh (Jhunjhunu), Nasirabad Ajmer, and Kota (South).
He also directed them to record videos of rallies, processions, public meetings and other such events, an official statement said.

Directions for monitoring of poll expenditure of candidates, training of sector officers and micro observers and poll parties were also issued to the officers in the meeting.
To increase voter turn out, he emphasised on conducting extensive activities under SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) programme for voters' awareness.
Special DG (Law and Order) Navdeep Singh asked the SP to make elaborate security arrangements during the bypolls in their districts and to identify suspicious elements who may create trouble during polling.
He said that additional police and paramilitary forces will be made available as per requirement to make sure that the bypolls are held in free and fair manner.
Ajmer Collector Bhawani Singh Detha, Bharatpur Collector Girraj Singh, Jhunjhunu Collector Arushi A Malik, and Kota Collector Jogaram apprised the senior officers of the preparations made by them in their districts for the bypolls.
