MUMBAI: Bollywood director Raj Kumar Santoshi has been provided additional security after receiving threats from a gangster, police said.
Santoshi, director of films like 'Ghayal', 'Damini' and more recently 'Halla Bol', allegedly received telephone calls from gangster Ejaz Lakdawala threatening him and demanding Rs five crore, police sources said.
The director has filed a police complaint after which he has been provided additional security, they said.
